From a young age, I have enjoyed any task which allowed my creativity to flow. Restoring items such as old/ or tired furniture, giving a room a makeover, or improving or giving anything a new dimension provides, in some form, a type of therapy for me. The sense of achievement in providing such a service is heightened when I see the happiness on peoples faces when the final product has been delivered. I love to see people smile when they see something that they may not have previously thought of, and this alone is extremely satisfying.

Janet has transformed two mahogany sideboards into lovely grey pieces of furniture for me as well as painting a bespoke wildflower canvas for my bedroom. She listens & fulfils what you want, in the time frame agreed. Janet is an extremely talented and lovely person who I can highly recommend.

I am very happy to speak very highly of the professionalism and overall superb quality of the work which Janet Hunt has done in my house over the past couple of years.
She repainted the whole interior of the house. This has added a greater sense of space, light and warmth throughout. She also did two paintings on canvas. One of these was from a selection of photographs and the other was one from the beauty of our natural surroundings, encompassing both the sea and the mountains. At all times Janet exhibited a high degree of professionalism in her work and all of the finished products were superb in every respect. All of the work was done within the agreed time frame.
Finally, I highly recommend Janet Hunt for any such work.

Janet recreated marble effect wall paper on my daughters bedroom walls, it is amazing, she did an amazing job.
The result was above and beyond what I ever expected and I would most certainly recommend her. Whoever she does work for will be very pleased. Janet takes a lot of care and attention in her work, she clean and tidy while working.

Janet came highly recommended to us when we did a major refurb on our house & she did not disappoint.
We found her to be highly talented, imaginative, creative & full of ideas on how to reuse some of our existing furniture/belongings in our ‘new home’.
She repainted picture frames giving them a new & modern look, she created a very impressive wall hanging by framing/mounting a very ordinary canvas, she transformed various small bits of furniture by repainting to match in with our new colour scheme which gave them a new lease of life.
At all times she was very professional in her approach. She came up with her ideas & listened o our views before proceeding. She always worked to timescales & the standard of her work is of high quality.

What can I say about Janet??
“Banbridge’s best kept secret”
I nearly don’t want to leave a testimonial as I want to keep her to myself.
After trying for nearly a year to get someone to paint my kitchen and having wasted time on people who said they would come and have a look, I was given Janet’s number by a friend of hers.
I contacted Janet and she arrived on time, gave me a price and agreed to start when I wanted.
We were going on holiday for 10 days so we arranged to have it done while we were away.
She arrived at my house about 30 minutes after we left for the airport and got stuck in.
The kitchen was completed by my return, therefore I had no dirt or hassle.
After doing the job for me I was paying her as our agreed price only to be told it had been less than previously expectedJ
Never has this ever happened – she didn’t have to tell me that I would have happily have paid the full amount and more.
I would highly recommend Janet for any type of interior design and have in fact had her doing several upholstering jobs for me since.
I have also arrange for her to redo my utility room and decorate while I am on my next holiday.
She has ideas that I would never even have dreamt about, so much so I have given her full control over the next revamp and told her to surprise me.
I know I won’t be disappointed.

Back in 2014 we were updating our kitchen. Janet called with me to give me a quote and explain the process. As soon as I met her I totally trusted her and had complete confidence in what she was doing. The process was so straightforward and nothing was a problem. This made things so much easier especially considering I had a little toddler and a 3 week old baby at the time. The results were amazing and completely changed the look of the kitchen. Janet was meticulous about everything she did and was also lovely to have in our home for those few days. I would and have already recommended her to others.
